new FAQ released

Hi all,

A minor revision of the FAQ has been released, to reflect the changes
requested since the 17.x.1998 release. "A whole nother" naming scheme has
been adopted. Sorry, but someone had a good argument.

I've already made the change on the home page, and on the pages hosted by
David Vondrasek. David Mihm has, cleverly, added a "You are here" tag to
the list of mirrors in the "sites" list. With all the mirrors, I have
stopped soliciting new ones.

Peter and Nathan, I thought the easiest way was to let you get the tar.gz
file from the lowrent page. That file now contains the index.html page
which is found on lowrent.

I know that it's not terribly pretty, but I think it very important to
make the FAQ totally available to anyone -- even someone accessing it
through an old version of lynx, or even XEmacs's web browser (shudder).

Thanks again to all of you who help with these documentation efforts.

A.
