S/N Ratio

I've noticed recently that the S/N ratio of this list has dropped severly.
Flaming one another is not productive. Neither are "I know this is off
topic but [blah] is *so cool*" posts. I've been subscribed to this list
for a year and a half, and there have been more of these in the past few
weeks than I've seen in the rest of that time. If you don't have anything
productive to say, don't post anything at all.

Oh and to anyone that intends to flame me back, do so in private. This
immature crap is going to wreck this communication medium for the real
developers, and that is bad news for afterstep.</rant>
