The web page is currently under new management and will be updated
within 2 weeks. The ftp site is possibly in need of a new host, more news
on this soon. In the interim, I have made available all that is not on
f.a.o; Michal Vitecek ( /pub/AfterStep/ ) also has a
mirror of my site ( /pub/Linux/AfterStep/ ).
The 1.5.0 release of AfterStep is almost upon us! It is in a
development pre-release state and is becoming rock-solid, and is very
low in memory use [unless of course you like 2.5MB pixmaps on everything
:)]. Everyone is encouraged to grab the latest 1.5pre9 version
(including the current patches) to help the developers track down and
rememdy all those niggly bugs that like to feed on such juicy code. The
more varied the testing base, the better chance to ensure a homogenous
Window Manager.
Patches should be sent to the coordinators, which is listed in the
<tar-src>/doc/Teams file, as well as myself. I will test and place them
on my site.

Thanks for supporting the worlds best window manager!
