Have you totally re-generated your ~/G/L/A directory after moving to
1.4.5.55N6? There were _several_ incompatibiities in the various versions
-- tiny enough to be hard to track down, and big enough to cause problems.
In order to get what I want from version to version (while the standards
are being worked out -- after 1.5, I gather, this will stabilize. Right?),
I move my original ~/G/L/A to ~/G/L/A-vers#/, and then copy the new /u/s/a
directory structures I want. I then make the changes I want to the new
~/G/L/A structure, one at a time, using my old customization as a basis.
This tends to avoid the big incompatibilities which so often turn up.
