I feel badly about this, but the fix is somewhere around number 2,863,942
on my to-do list. I have a broken macro somewhere on my system which will
not allow me to generate *.txt versions of the FAQ from the SGML source.
I know what's broken, I sort-of know where and why, but I haven't spent
the time fooling with it yet. I'm sorry.

You can get the SGML source, and then use SGMLtools to convert the sgml to
txt ('sgml2txt'). You can, of course, read the raw SGML if you like
(although it's a bit of a pain!). Also, the html version of the FAQ
displays just fine in lynx, which should be on every system.

If anyone has SGML tools, and hasn't a broken troff macro, please feel
free to make a text version of the current FAQ.

A.
