Have you installed the patched I made for gtk+-1.1.2?
If you haven't do so (it's available at
http://www.dockmaster.unix.edu.sollentuna.se/~magil_80/ascp-0.9.2.patch)

Put it in the src directory and run patch < ascp-0.9.2.patch 

This should work.
