Yes, the command error was xli that was my typo.  Funny thing though, I checked
on another machine that is running fine, and xli is not there either.  So I
reinstalled AS, after cleaning up my files, and everything works fine, no xli
there either.  Should I be worried about this?

             Is it really Xli, not xli? 
If you got xli installed and the pager is looking for Xli it can't load
the mini image. If this is the case then make a symlink from Xli to xli,
it's not a good way of doing things but should work, or you recompile AS
and name the image loader xli not Xli. 

If it's xli and the shell don't find it then install it or if it's already 
installed make it findable by adding it's path to the PATH environment.
