aterm -e tail -f /var/log/messages     ?
aterm -e ssh loghost /usr/local/bin/swatch -t /var/adm/everything

(i use the second one to keep "important" logs scrolling in my (apparent)
root window but actually in an aterm that obeys these properties...

Style "swatch" NoFocus, NoTitle, Sticky, StaysOnBack, WindowListSkip, N
oHandles
)

since this is my first post to this list, i wanted to thank everyone for
making AS so platform-indpendent...it runs smooth as silk on my SGI (and
so does aterm, unlike a lot of as* apps and xiterm)
