WinList and negative coordinates

I am using the very last version of AfterStep (1.7.67).
I place my winlist in the bottom of the screen. If I use geometry as
+0+750 (in a 1024x768 mode) everything works (if there are no windows
opened, I can see a small clock with two other numbers that I figured
out they are related to desk).
However, if I define geometry as +0-1 and again, I have no windows, the
clock slide down the screen and flashes on the bottom. Moreover, when I
open a xterm, for instance, winlist appears one pixel below the
original position.
