Okay....anyone care to hear my opinions? Too bad, gonna hear them anyhow.
=)

Seriously though, Afterstep's Wharf is IMHO superior to the panel. This
may partially be biased...but I feel it more has to do with it's
efficiency and delivery. I do have a panel active on my desktop. I do
like the menu system and the system controls (like the screensaver
controls). I may keep it around...but who knows...after the novelty wears
off, I may remove the panel. The only think I have docked into the panel
is the AFterstep Clock (ironic, isn't it?).

So...what do I expect is a great feature of Gnome? GMC and the desktop
manager. It's worth it for me....of course I have a really fast and
resourceful machine...so it isn't a problem for me. I'd have to have the
libraries anyhow for VooDoo Tracker...so why not get the Gnome Core and
GMC?

GMC is worth it...you ought to check it out.

Cheers,
