	No wharfable app, that I know of, actually does anything in terms
of "establishing" your connection.  They all just asign a script (ppp-call
& ppp-hangup & ppp-redial) to buttons.  You'll first need to write these
scripts no matter what you pick.  The PPP-HOWTO is your definitive
document for this information, as well as an excellent step by step guide
published in the Linux Journal (subscribe now if you aren't), which is web
archived at:

If it has moved, search the previous issues for a title "A 10-minute guide
for using PPP to connect Linus to the Internet".
	At this point, the "best" app is all a mater of personal
preference, they all do the same thing, it's just what they look like
