Reading .profile

Hi,

I'm trying to make AS read my .profile (for path settings) on start and
restart. I tried putting the follwing line in the "Init" and "Restart" in
autoexec -

	Exec "I" sh ~/.profile

but it did not work, presumably because it opened up another shell to run
.profile without making any changes to the current one. Can anyone suggest how
to do this, i.e. do something like the ". .profile" trick in the shell?

Thanks,

Ushnish
