LV said->right?). I am assuming by these numbers that I would have in theory 24 virtual
LV said->desktops because of the 4 desks. Whenever I send a window to another desk it
LV said->appears to go to someplace not shown in Pager.

Hi Lucas,

if you are going to compile the afterstep, then you could consider
to set these options for GNU configure:

--with-desktops=1 --with-deskgeometry=1x1

where you'll change for your preferences in 24, 2x3, and so way... Infact
afterstep by default is compiled and distribuited with 4 virtual desktops
and a 2x2 pager geometry, moreover you will must edit the file
/usr/X11R6/share/afterstep/base.xxbpp (or one is in user home directory)
and write this options on the basis of above:

DeskTopSize 1x1

Then try the entry "DeskTopScale X" (1, 4, 8, 16, ....): it is thought
for expand or decrease the pager dimension.

Good bye!

P.S. sorry for my bad Enghish!
