In a word, afterstep-devel doesn't compile. Sasha confirmed this in an
email to me back in March, indicating that it would take a lot of work
to make it compile.

Meanwhile, has anyone had success compiling the afterstep-stable snapshop?
I've tried a new version of XFree86, & different revs of gcc. Next to try
is compiling & installing libAfter first, then run the compile.

The compile bombs consistently for me at:

make[1]: Nothing to be done for `all'.

I've reported the problem to Sasha, but it hasn't been fixed. Am I missing
something on my computer?
