small documentation patch

i'm sure someone was going to hit this before 2.0 final, but while adding
a note about libgif versions i went ahead and bumped the version numbers
so that they were uniform.  it's a tiny patch, you can take and leave
what bits you like.  but i think it'd be nice to mention some more minimal
version numbers for support libraries if any others are liable to break
things like an old libgif did for me.  (the rest of mine must be "new
enough").
