I've done a fresh update this morning and everything compiles (even with
--enable-gdb), installs and runs fine. "Restart session" seems also to
work perfectly :-)

I am also very sorry Sasha because the last round of compile-install-run
problems were mainly coming from my side :=20
  1. I've discovered that I was just running out of space which caused
     compilations to fail.
  2. The executable files installed by AfterStep were not in my PATH
     anymore (shame on me).

I'll try all that and report in a new thread.

Thanks from your help. Now I've definitely switched to AfterStep 2.0
for my home workstation. It still isn't as finely tuned as my previous
AfterStep 1.8 setting was, but I'll do that progressively. I will also
change my workplace workstation this week I hope.

PS : Good, the new CVS repository seems to respond much faster :-)
