Hello. I am running AfterStep 1.8.11 on Debian (Sarge) Linux.
Previously i was using an older version of AfterStep on Red Hat 6.2.
Since switching to Debian, i have found one minor visual glitch in my
AfterStep configuration that wasn't a problem before. For now i am
assuming that it is a configuration error on my part and would
appreciate any assistance towards correcting it.

The problem is with Pager. I have 4 virtual desktops, each with a
different wallpaper. The wallpaper is a rather small tiled image. Pager
shows each of my virtual desktops with each desktop's own wallpaper.
However, the image shown in Pager is stretched rather than tiled. The
result is something that looks rather strange and pixelated. I don't
know how to explain it much better, but i have taken screenshots of
Pager on each of the 4 virtual desktops so you can see it. The
screenshots are at: http://www.ramaley.net/as/ .

Is there a configuration change i can make to get the desktop displays
in Pager to be tiled?

I have modified my ~/GNUstep/Library/AfterStep/pager file from the
defaults. I've commented out the *PagerStyle lines and added these five
lines:

*PagerSetRootOnStartup
*PagerDesktopImage 0
~/GNUstep/Library/AfterStep/non-configurable/0_background
*PagerDesktopImage 1
~/GNUstep/Library/AfterStep/non-configurable/1_background
*PagerDesktopImage 2
~/GNUstep/Library/AfterStep/non-configurable/2_background
*PagerDesktopImage 3
~/GNUstep/Library/AfterStep/non-configurable/3_background

This was necessary to get Pager for each desktop's background image to
be shown in the Pager. Without these changes the Pager showed the
current desktop's background in all 4 desktops.

For reference, my entire ~/GNUstep/Library/AfterStep/pager file is
below, with comments and white space removed to save space:
