For those who are running either Mandrake 10.1 or Fedora Core 3, and would
like to track with the latest AfterStep releases you may want to check this
out: http://www.afterstep.org/download.php?show=3DRPMS.

Jeff Krebs spurred me back into getting this done, and between he and I
we've managed to package AfterStep, aterm1b2, and ~40 common applets (some
as*, some wm*, and a few others) as rpms.  There are instructions for
setting up both YUM and URPMI repositories there.

If there are bugs, feel free to post back to this list, and we'll fix them
in some more or less timely order.  Our intent is to add new applets as
people request them, and to track with AfterStep releases no more than 3
days behind the release (largely depending on the real world getting in our
